Hi Aaron,

Please try again - there was a problem with the CMC service.

Regards,

Ivan.

Subject: [orbit-user] Problem with nodehandler

Hi

I am trying to load an image on the nodes of the grid. But am getting
the following exception:

acf2127 at console.grid:~$ orbit load [[20,9],[20,7],[20,5],[19,2]]
baseline-8.3.ndz
Imaging nodes: '[[20,9],[20,7],[20,5],[19,2]]' with image 'baseline-8.3.ndz'

acf2127 at console.grid:~$ orbit stat [20,1]
-----------------------------------------------
   Testbed : grid
   Node n_20_1 - State: POWEROFF

   acf2127 at console.grid:~$ orbit tell on [20,1]
Testbed : grid - Command: on
Node n_20_1 - Error (node state: 'Not Available')

-------------------------------------------------------------
The stat command shows that the node is in 'poweroff' state but when I
try to turn it on, it gives the above error. This is true for all
nodes that I have tried.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a nodehandler problem. Please help.

Thanks,

Aaron
